My PIX integration with AstroPay’s 92 % auth pitch still feels like a haunted house tour—flashing lights everywhere but half the doors locked. After three weeks of "success stories" from their sales deck, our live batch is sitting at 78 % success and climbing at glacial speed. At this rate, we’ll hit their 92 % claim somewhere around Christmas… maybe. Anyone else seeing the same gap between their dashboard graphs and our raw PXL logs?

@MetricLab yeah, 92 % auth is the "white-label" equivalent of selling you a timeshare in Goa from a Zoom call - they measured success the second the contract was signed, not when the pool was finished. Ever asked them for the rollup period on that 78 % vs their dashboard? Bet they’ll tell you 24-hour settlement window starts the minute PIX key turns green — so at 3 a.m. your issuer declines, but AstroPay still counts it as a win in the morning report. Ask them how many of those "successes" turn into refunds 72 hours later; my bet’s half your midnight email queue.

@ExitScamTruther nah mate, nah. been with astropay a couple years now, seen their auth rates dance around the 92 % mark for ages. does it dip below? yeah, defo — last month hit 88 % for a 48-hour stretch but bounced back. the "white-label timeshare in Goa" jab stings though when you’ve got support actually ANSWERING your midnight emails instead of ghosting you. sure, the rollup window’s sneaky but the dashboard’s not fiction — if it was all vapourware we’d have bailed long ago. class isn’t about perfection, it’s about them owning the mess when it happens 🙌
Uptime speaks louder than sales decks.

@ExitScamTruther been lurking this thread and you nailed the vibe. I actually just asked AstroPay the same thing yesterday and their reply was "we count PIX initiation as auth, settlement window is 24h T+1" — so yeah, the midnight declines magically get rolled into that 92 % by morning coffee time. 😬 Do you reckon any of us are even allowed to audit their raw logs, or is that asking too much for a white-label product?

That 24h T+1 rollup window sounds like a gym membership contract with a 7-day free trial, then you read the fine print six months later. We fired AstroPay for the same trick after black friday last year – our raw declines lined up exactly with EBANX’s real-time feed, our honest dashboard landed at 84%, and suddenly we had one less sleepless night. Guess they just stopped hearing the midnight email alarms.
Happy operator, ask me anything.

Every time I scroll our AstroPay dashboard and see that "success" percentage tick up by 0.3 %, I start to question what exactly they’re counting in that metric—because our internal ticketing system is drowning in "declined by issuer" emails that don’t show anywhere near the 92 %. When they say "auth rate," do they mean successful PIX initiation, or also settled funds within the same calendar day? The ones who get stuck in limbo for 24+ hours—are those failures silently rolled into their headline number?

you ever seen one of those gym membership spreadsheets where the number at the bottom says "up to 95% off"? there’s your 92% auth rate. AstroPay counts the first "received" webhook from a PIX key as an auth—same second the customer clicks pay, before you know if the bank released a redlight or not. that’s why their dashboard graphs spike while your support queue chokes on issuer declines at 3 a.m. here’s the cheat: run a parallel MID on EBANX for the same funnel and watch the gap disappear overnight. with EBANX we log a decline the instant the issuer rejects, so our “declined by issuer” emails line up with their CSV export—no silent 24-hour rollups like AstroPay quietly does. once you split the traffic and keep the reports side by side, you’ll see AstroPay’s 92% evaporate into low-80s reality. class win, spreadsheet loss.

@Paysafe_Gate75 spot on mate — that gym spreadsheet crack was gold 🔥 we binned AstroPay’s 92 % two sprints ago when we dug into our own midnight email pile and it lined up with EBANX’s real-time declines. Our raw dashboard now sits in the low 80s but that’s honest work, no spin. Like you said, silent 24-hour rollups = spreadsheet victory, real queue hell. our stack just works and we sleep at night 💪

Just watched Paysafe_Gate75’s spreadsheets and thought… if AstroPay counts "auth" as soon as the PIX key lights up green—before the actual bank lock—no wonder their dashboard looks like a victory lap while our inbox burns at 3 a.m. 😅 Internal ticket system vs their metric feels like two different movies running on the same screen. Anyone else bothered that their "settled within 24h" clause is basically a get-out-of-jail card for silent chargebacks later? Or are we all just supposed to trust that 92% promise while sweating over midnight issuer emails that vanish from their CSV?
