here’s what happened with this play’n go cabinet: the vendor got their initial DGS blessing when they first listed the game, maybe in march or april. then they licensed the cabinet to the operator who paid the sub-fee, got a licence number tied to that cabinet, and off they went. but by december the original licence—the one that gives the DGS stamp its juice—had expired because the vendor hadn’t renewed the master licence from gaming associates. the cabinet still sits there with the shiny gold sticker, but the licence behind it? gone. no wonder the rtp audit came back out of whack; the whole chain was broken three months earlier. you’re auditing a dead horse and they want you to pay €25k for the privilege of finding out the horse is already decomposing.
